The beauty of driftwood is that no log was cut down in order to make these. Also means that these candle holders are limited and only available when a driftwood log has been found. Cut to size, drilled, kiln dried and all edges lightly sanded. These are intended for tea lights only, and remember never leave open flames unattended.

Barnwood PICTURE FRAME 5x7...rustic refined

One of A Kind - RUSTIC REFINED

Our solid wood frames are handcrafted here on Paradise Hill from aged barn wood which we have collected ourselves from falling down barns, cabins and fences in our area. Most of them are of old pine, some of old fir. They are built to last, held together by hidden screws, the holes filled with solid wood doweling.

They have been carefully sanded, making them nice to touch, but are otherwise left natural, showing off the wonderful patina of the wood, ranging from weathered greys to warm, sunburnt browns.

Each frame has four keyhole hangers routed right into the wood at the back, so they can be hung both vertically or horizontally on a small nail. They also look great standing up on a desk or mantle.

The width of the frames ranges from appr. 1" to 2".

They come complete with non-glare glass, backing and flexible framing points, ready to insert your photo or artwork. We also supply a small piece of solid birch which you can slip into any keyhole to make the frame stand up.

No two are alike, but you can state a choice of either weathered greyish/brown or sunburnt brown (if no choice is stated we will send you greyish/brown).

The greyish/brown tones are versatile, suiting almost any colour picture, the sunburnt browns (see sample picture #3) go especially well with warm tone colours, such as reds, browns and are excellent for sepia photos.
