This reversible charm/pendant measures about 1/2" x 1 1/2". One side says "rebel" and the other side is a geometric pattern in fuschia, pink and brown.

The images are soldered between two pieces of glass with lead-free solder. Comes with a 24' ball and chain necklace which can be clipped to any size.
Besides a necklace, this charm can be used as a bag or purse charm, a rear-view window decoration, etc.

This is a truly unique little desktop art calendar. It's in the form of ATCs/ACEOs — Artist Trading Cards. Every card features a detail from one of my pen & ink drawings. The original illustrations are black & white, but these details are in beautiful rich colors. The paper stock is heavy and has a nice texture, very similar to the watercolor paper on which the originals are drawn. Long after 2010 is over, the cards can be saved as small works of art.

Arrogant Bastard Oaked Recycled Glass Bottles turn into Drinking Glasses

These are 12 once Arrogant Bastard Oaked beer bottles that have been opened up into drinking glasses. The process starts by washing the bottle, then placing it into an annealing oven. The oven is set to one thousand one hundred degree, and let to sit for 30 minutes. A rod is then dipped into a melted pot of spectrum 96 glass and formed into a punti. The punti is then touched to the bottom of the bottle and transferred to a glory hole furnace. The bottle is heated until the glass begins to move. A special tool call jacks are then used to open the narrow bottleneck into a cylinder. Once the bottle is in its final shape it is then placed back into an annealing oven to cool of the course of 30 hours, to assure no stress fractures form in the cup.

The glasses are safe to drink from and are dishwasher safe. I can turn any bottle with a painted label into a drinking glass.

The size and shape very slightly from glass to glass because of the glassblowing process. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Our solid wood frames are handcrafted here on Paradise Hill from aged barn wood which we have collected ourselves from falling down barns, cabins and fences in our area. Most of them are of old pine, some of old fir. They are built to last, held together by hidden screws, the holes filled with solid wood doweling.

They have been carefully sanded, making them nice to touch, but are otherwise left natural, showing off the wonderful patina of the wood, ranging from weathered greys to warm, sunburnt browns.

Each frame has four keyhole hangers routed right into the wood at the back, so they can be hung both vertically or horizontally on a small nail. They also look great standing up on a desk or mantle.

The width of the frames ranges from appr. 1" to 2".

They come complete with non-glare glass, backing and flexible framing points, ready to insert your photo or artwork. We also supply a small piece of solid birch which you can slip into any keyhole to make the frame stand up.

No two are alike, but you can state a choice of either weathered greyish/brown or sunburnt brown (if no choice is stated we will send you greyish/brown).

The greyish/brown tones are versatile, suiting almost any colour picture, the sunburnt browns (see sample picture #3) go especially well with warm tone colours, such as reds, browns and are excellent for sepia photos.

I created the State Charm Collection because I know that we all have special connections to different places for different reasons. I love wearing my state charms close to my heart (literally!) as a way to feel connected to the places I love so much even when I cannot be there in person.

Each state was hand cut from a nice thick piece of sterling silver sheet so the charm has substance. I pay close attention to the border of each state as I cut making sure to include as much detail as possible so that the charm captures the true essence of the state. Winging rivers, state borders, and other bodies of water define the unique shape of each state.

Each charm is hand hammered with Mushka's signature texture and then oxidized which gives the charm a "worked-in", well-loved look. The chain is an oxidized sterling silver bead chain (16"). Charm is about 3/4" wide.

Life often takes us on unexpected journeys. When facing new challenges and trying to define ourselves in new places, it is comforting to remember who we are and where we come from. A State Charm necklace is a wonderful daily reminder of your special connection the places you love.

He stands just over 9.5 inches tall. His body is 6 inches wide and the arms stretch out to about 11 inches.
Made of dark clay with specks of manganese it is glazed in an off-white glaze that allows the specks to show through. He is first thrown on the wheel and then the decorative pieces are applied to him before firing. Holes are cut for his facial features and buttons. The arms are made from small limbs sealed with polyurethane. I have left the limbs loose for easier shipping but a spot of white glue will keep them attached if you desire.

This set is made to order. I will make every effort to create them as soon as possible, however delivery right now will be about five weeks because of the wonderful response my mills received at the Smithsonian Craft Show!
As they are individually hand made there may be slight variations in color and shape from the photo.

The mills are 5 1/2" tall.

I have been making mills for over 10 years. This particular set is one of my classic designs - simple, elegant mills combining black and white carved bodies with beautiful olivewood tops.

I turned and carved the bases of these mills out of English sycamore or maple. The texture of the carving makes it easy to grip, even with wet hands. The white salt mill is colored with acrylic paint and rubbed back, and the black pepper mill has been scorched and airbrushed black. The tops have been turned and wire brushed to give them a lovely satin texture. The brass knobs also have a soft brushed finish. Both mills have a durable, food safe, environmentally friendly finish, that can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Both mills features a durable ceramic fully adjustable grinding mechanism. The mechanism produces unmatched consistency in grind while requiring only a slight twist to produce a significant amount of fresh, aromatic pepper or salt. The ceramic mechanism also means that any possible salt corrosion is avoided.

These mills would be a beautiful addition to your dining table or kitchen. They also make a wonderful wedding gift.

This necklace was made from a recycled scratched up LP of Classical Music. The LP is a beautiful strawberry color.

I manipulate the vinyl while hot which only lasts about 10 seconds or so. So not only do my fingers have to be speedy, but they also have to be tolerant of a little heat. So far I've never seriously burned myself.

The necklace measures a total of 17.5 inches, the red spiral is roughly 3.25 inches of the total length.

These bottles are full of life dancing away without a care in the world. I think I had too much wine the day I was making them.. LOL!

This listing is for one oil bottle that is decorated in deep dark blue and white slip and glazed in a light ice blue glaze. See alternate pictures to the right of the main picture.
